Josephine Profy graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Natural Resources, Wildlife Conservation and Management. Originally from Pennsylvania, she decided to attend The University of Arizona because of her interest in desert wildlife, especially the herpetofauna of the Sonoran Desert. During her junior year (2017-2018), Josephine worked on The Stone Canyon Project. Aside from research, she also had responsibilities in two clubs on campus including: president of Wildcat Off-Road Club and secretary of Tierra Seca, The University of Arizona Chapter of the Society for Range Management.
